Sara is absolutely AMAZING. I was very picky about where I got a puppy from. I wanted a healthy, solid, well-adjusted puppy. I love all the time she spends with these puppies and how she makes sure your home is a good fit and how she is still there for support after you get your puppy home. I cannot say enough about Sara and her breeding program. As a new pet owner who had been planning on a poodle for more than 3 years, I did extensive research into poodle breeders to find a responsible program with stable, proven dogs. Sara first impressed me with her thorough potential buyer interview, her rigorous checking of references, and her support even before the puppies were born. During weekly videos, she showed us how she raised the puppies and answered our questions about their life stages. In matching me with a puppy, I am certain she had the puppy's best interests at heart, knew the puppies incredibly well, and made sure to stay in touch with us every week. I know Sara would not have matched me with a puppy that did not suit my lifestyle, temperament needs, and goals. With that said, I am incredibly grateful for her rigor, because my poodle Vega is confident, stable, affectionate and whip smart. As a trainer, Sara has extensive knowledge and we've had many interesting conversations about puppy raising and problem solving natural bumps in the road together. My experience with Cedar Cove Standard Poodles was incredible. Finding which breed I wanted wasn’t hard. I’m a dog groomer and wanted to show in grooming and conformation, so I knew a poodle was right for me. What WAS difficult was finding a breeder who was responsible, ethical, close enough to me for me to drive, AND produced dogs that I liked and felt fit my temperament wishes. Sara did very thorough interviews with each applicant to make sure her puppies would be going to good homes. She matched me with my Fletcher based on his temperament and I can say with 100% certainty she made the right call. He is an absolute dream boat (and he knows it). If you’re wondering if you should buy a Cedar Cove puppy, you can trust that their temperament, structure, and health are ALL taken into consideration and evaluated very intricately. Given the chance to buy another standard poodle, I will ALWAYS choose Cedar Cove.

When I started looking for a standard poodle puppy, I originally ruled Cedar Cove out because of the distance. However, I kept coming back to her time and time again, so I took the leap and I'm so beyond happy that I did! You can see the love and passion that Sara has for her dogs in everything that she does. These puppies are raised with love, respect and their future homes in mind and it shows! The puppy that was matched to me is absolutely everything that I could have ever dreamed of! I told Sara that I like a clingy dog and was nervous when I was matched to a puppy that had more of an independent streak- I was worried we wouldn't bond. But she knew her puppies and she knew my needs and she saw what I couldn't from 20 hours away. Maris is so perfect for me, and I’m so completely in love with him.
